Kathleen is also a Master Luthier making mountain dulcimers since the 1970’s. There are no laminates on plywood used in their construction. All have four strings and are 36-38 inches long. Each instrument will come in its own carry bag and a dulcimer music book will be included. I use maple with spruce top which looks like a natural light wood all around or walnut and spruce. Walnut is a dark rich brown or cherry and spruce, cherry is a light to medium reddish brown wood. Each gives a slightly different tone. Maple is warm and full. Walnut is a mellow deeper tone and cherry is bright and springy. TO ORDER CLICK BELOW.
